Willy Eichel had to join the R.A.D ( Reichs Arbeits Dienst ) when he was just 17 years old and was the jongest member of his unit.

He worked in Holland as a bomb loader for ME111's in airport Soesterberg in Amersfoort.

After that he was sent to Morlaix in France were he experienced the horror of war and as he states he was happy to return save to his home.
