In my free time I often visit the battlefields of WW2 where I am looking for artefacts with a metal detector.

All explosive material is left alone and not taken home the collection consists of personal objects and fieldgear.

Below some of the items that are being discovered on those trips..

Various German helmets found in Holland.

Below are various objects found in German and Canadian trenches in the Reichswald. ( Germany )

The green bottles have been identified by a Canadian veteran I know as beer bottles. Some small glaswork which usually was taken to the battlefield from home.

A razor and some other small objects. ( the bullet is empty )

Pieces that came from English or Canadian backpacks and belts.

More objects found in the Netherlands the brown bottles are german and were filled with weapon oil and the orange bottles were filled with a liquid to protect against poison gas attacks.

Dragon teeth at the Siegriedline area Hurtgen Wald.
