Robert E. Morneweck

101st Air Borne

 

My brother Robert E. Morneweck was 101st air borne,K.I.A. crossing Rhine River on April 12,1945.

A young Dutch teacher Emma adopted his grave and put flowers on it. From 1945 to 2005 she took care of Robert grave.

Margraten cemetery where I lay flowers on every occasion I am nearby and on special days.

These top 3 pictures are Robert on top, below him is our father Weston ,our brother-in-law Virgil Terry. Other picture is Robert standing by his buddy Ray Bascome.
